would not recommend
I don't recommend this product. It made my sun spots worse and new ones appeared even though I followed the instructions: only at night and using spf 50 sunscreen during the day.
I usually love la roche posay products but was very upset with this one, not only I spent a lot of money on it but it made my issue worse! So now I have to spend more money to try to fix what it did.
Very unhappy and I think it is frankly false and misleading advertising.

Retinol & vitamin C
I’ve been using these products for a little over a year and have seen changes to my pigmentation and softening to my face I love how it feels on my skin.

so disappointed
I have cried many times over this product and sadly they are not tears of joy. When I tell you this retinol completely ruined my skin I mean it. About 4 months ago I had pretty clear skin apart from a few breakouts and hyperpigmentation. I thought I would be responsible and start using retinol since I am in my 20s. I know how strong this product is so I was very careful and only used it 2-3 times a week with a cleanser and moisturiser that complimented it. As soon as I started using it my skin was breaking out like crazy. I thought I was just purging but after 4-ish months I realised I ruined my face. My skin is now flaky and textured, I have a lot of acne around my cheeks and head that won't go away and my face flares up constantly. I'm not even mad anymore. I'm just so devastated. I'm booking a dermatologist appointment for next week. I would do anything to go back and prevent myself from buying this product. I want my old skin back.

This product irrated my skin and now peeing off
i have used this product just 2 days ago and my skin started to becoming red as soon as i apply it .. Then i get a burning sensation and whole cheeks became red. Now my skin is peeling off badly

I LOVE IT!

Nice texture
I cannot give a full review for this product at this stage as I believe that it takes a few months for retinol to show results. I have only been using this for less than one month.
What I can say is that I like the texture and how it does not make my sensitive skin react.

Smooth, problem free, and easy!
Although it has been only a short time since I have been using it, I have noticed that the formulation causes no problem with my pores or skin as other brands tend to do, and it has no annoying greasy after feel, and glide in applying it on the skin is very nice.

Gentle yet effective retinol serum
I have been using this serum for the past year now, on my second bottle now - it lasts well, you don’t need a lot and if you’re using it 3-4 times a week, it’s a really good buy too!
I noticed a difference within the first few weeks. But having been using it for close to a year now, I can certainly see a massive improvement in skin texture and quality of my fine lines. I usually follow it as up with a face oil.

A noticeable difference to my skin health

Very Good

Love it
It took about a week for my skin to adjust to it, but once it did... amazing. I have always had super oily, acne prone skin and this product is the only product I've used that has contributed to my skin's health and appearance. It is on the more expensive side, however I do highly recommend.

Great serum for night time repair
I’ve only used this for a short time and already feel a difference in my skin. The serum sinks in and leaves a nice finish and the night cream goes perfectly on after. I feel like my skin feels smoother and less thirsty, can’t wait to see added improvement in my fine lines.

Lovely texture

Terrific product
I am fairly new to using this kind of serum. I have used multiple serums that do similar things to this one, however I keep coming back to this one. It is so velvety smooth on the skin, smells amazing and I feel like it is improved Fine lines and overall appearance and texture of my skin. I would highly recommend this, and I feel as though the price point is just right.

A permanent addition to my nightly routine

Great product but why so much fragrance?
Love the idea of this product and so far so good but I’m not sure why it needs such strong and artificial smelling fragrance? (Kind of smells like men’s aftershave). I read about how La Roche Posay is really carefully tested/curated etc. but the fragrance just seems like a completely non essential thing to put in this product-
Particularly because retinol can be a bit irritating at times and I don’t want to throw fragrance into the mix. Luckily the smell seems to go away quite quickly, but it’s definitely strong at first.

We can confirm that the fragrance selected is hypoallergenic in nature, meaning it doesn’t use the fragrance substances contained in the known allergenic group of fragrances called ‘Fragrance Mix’. Noticeable Difference After a Few Days
Only a few days into using this serum and already can see a difference. Read many reviews before I purchased as so many suggestions for skincare for my age group (early 60's), very happy with the product. Would recommend.

Nightly Skin Feed Good Results
Purchased to help assist my mature nightly skin routine. I found the dropper applicator easy to apply and drop a couple into my hands and off you go. This product leaves my skin feeling soft and nourished without any harsh reactions having read a little about retinol. Very happy with my purchase to say the least. I would recommend this product especially to those who’s skin is maturing

Love this product!

My fav serum!!
I love this serum for 3 reasons: it absorbs fast, it’s non-drying and I saw the results after 2 weeks of using it. My pores became less visible and over tone and texture of my skin improved. Will purchase again!

Love it! Perfect for sensitive skinned people!
Have been using this in conjunction with the Vit C for awhile now. Noticed a HUGE difference in my skin tone and pore minimising. I use this one PM and vit c AM. I also have super, super sensitive skin and both products are fine for me. Plus, they don't cost a ridiculous amount!!

Red spotty rash
I was really excited about starting my Retinol B3 serum however after using it 3 times at night (not consecutively) it gave me a red spotty rash around my mouth area. Not sure whether to persist or not.

Definate improvement.
This product is beautiful. Been using it for over a week and my skin is smoother, softer and brighter. My foundation (when I wear it) glides on and doesn't cake. I am so impressed with the products overall ...being 53 years old with breakouts is not cool. My skin is now under control. Thank you.

Youth in a bottle
For a while now my skin has been acne prone and tired looking but this serum has bought it back to life. It has been the answer I’ve been looking for. I thoroughly recommend.

Bad reaction
I had high expections for this product, but unfortunately it wasn't for me. After applying the product, my skin would go red and flakey. I tried using it a few different ways (by itself, mixed with moisturiser, over moisturiser etc), but it still would give me a bad reaction.
Also, the bottle is not well designed and the product leaks.

It’s often advisable to ease into usage of active ingredients such as retinol, for instance by using once or twice per week, and increasing frequency of application gradually once tolerated. Following the serum with a moisturiser (serum should be the first layer applied) can also assist with added hydration and comfort. It is also important to ensure your moisturiser’s ingredients are compatible and you are not doubling up with any stimulating ingredients. I’m using it every night and absolutely loving it. Using with the Vit C one in the morning and feeling great about my skin right now :-)
