[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 🍋 The product is new to me, with a slightly and quickly absorbed consistency, it does not leave a sticky layer on the skin. 🍋 The greatest asset of the product can be considered the content of 10% pure form of vitamin C, which has a sensational effect on improving skin tone, its healthy and radiant appearance. 🍋 After a few applications, the skin is smoothed and delicate to the touch but also illuminated. 🍋 What’s more, in my opinion, the skin is very well moisturised, but it also retains moisture for many hours, which is due to the enrichment of the formula with ceramides, hyaluronic acid and vitamin B5. Nice serum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cerave 10% Vitamin C with 3 essential Ceramides, HA & vitamin Serum is a new addition to the fabulous dermatologist approved range in the U.K.The serum comes in a biodegradable plastic tube with a fine tip applicator which not only allows the pea sized amount to be dispensed easily, but also protects the Vitamin C from oxidising too quickly. A pea sized amount is perfect to apply to the whole cleansed face and pats in easily. I love that the smell is not overpowering like some containing Vitamin C. The serum is a gel cream texture which makes it a nice change and as it contains moisturising ingredients feels smooth on the skin. It is weightless and non-greasy but my dry skin also needs a good moisturiser on top, there is no pilling.The slow release MVE technology keeps my skin hydrated all day and so far I have had no adverse reactions to it. I can’t say that my skin looks any brighter after a couple of weeks but it does have a nice sheen after first applying.The only downside is that after a few weeks, I have noticed it has changed colour slightly a meaning the product is starting to degrade. I realise this is an issue with all Vitamin C. I think this is a decent priced option which may suit oilier skin than mine better or those with pigmentation issues.

Gentle vitamin c

Glowing skin.

Since using this serum it is giving my skin a nice glow. It's very easy to use, just twist the cap and squeeze out the serum. It contains: 10% Vitamin C 3 essential ceramides which helps to protect the skin's barrier. I use it daily on my face and neck and find that it does not make my skin feel more oily nor greasy. Layering my spf and makeup on top of this serum ia fine, no piling nor clumping. The serum itself is not too thick which helps with It's absorbency. It also has a nice slightly summery smell. I have rated it 5 stars as I've had no irritations or negative side effects from using this serum.

Absolutely amazing

This Vit C serum is absolutely amazing. Love the light consistency that absorbs into a skin quickly leaving my skin soft a nourished. My new favourite Vitamin C serum

I love that it contains not only 10% Vitamin c serum but hyaluronic acid and ceramides so brightens and smooths as well as strengthening the skin barrier. The texture is more of a gel cream, which I prefer to the liquid ones, which can be very watery and felt it absorbed really well into the skin. It does have a slight scent to it from the Vitamin c but nothing too strong like other brands I've tried. After using my skin feels soft and doesn't affect my makeup application. I have noticed my skin texture is much smoother especially on my forehead and also my skin looks brighter and healthier. Overall I really like this product, the way it absorbs easily and the results I'm getting from using it. I would like it to contain a slightly higher Vitamin c percentage, say 12% but because of the added hyaluronic acid and ceramides i think it stands out over other brands and will be buying again after I finish this tube.

Great for brightness

Gorgeous cream!

Impressive Serum!

I have been using this serum for a few days now and am very impressed with the results. The serum has a very light consistency and you only need a small amount of product each time to give a perfect coverage across all areas of the face. I have been applying it every morning before my daily moisturiser and it is quickly absorbed into the skin. Great especially for dull and dehydrated skin

Great Vitamin C Serum

I already use a vitamin c and hyaluronic acid serum in the morning so was very excited to try Cerave’s version as it is fragrance free and non-comedogenic. I have used the serum in my morning routine for about a week and a half. I love that it comes in protective packaging to maintain the products performance, my only complaint is that it could be bigger, I’m not sure how long it will last but it may surprise me. Not only does it contain 10% pure vitamin c, it also has 3 essential ceramides, hyaluronic acid and vitamin b5 so it is a multitasking serum. They are all great ingredients for restoring or maintaining your skin barrier. The serum is lightweight and it is anbsorbed into the skin quickly without leaving it sticky. I have reactive and sensitive skin and it didn’t cause any irritation. I did patch test first before going straight onto my face just in case but I had no need to worry. I would definitely recommend this product and I think it would benefit all skin types.

I'm a fan!

I've tried many vitamin C creams and serums over the years. But this may just be my favourite yet. It's a really rich, thick serum that blends in beautifully. After the first week of use I'm sure i noticed an improvement in my skin, which is usually hard to achieve in the middle of the winter! Will definitely be preserving with this one!

Not for me

Firstly the positives, lightweight in texture, absorbed easily into the skin and dries quickly. Negatives, I found it had a bit of a smell like false tan. I found this smell very difficult to overcome which makes this serum a no for me.

Perfect skincare serum !

Soft and lightweight

The skin Renewing vitamin C serum comes in a 30ml tube, that is easy to use. The serum had a lightweight formula that has a pale yellow colour. I have been using the serum for almost a week now and i like how easily the serum absorbed into my skin. I also liked the lightweight formula and it didn't feel heavy on my skin. I used the serum in the morning after cleansing my face, I applied evenly to my face and neck area. The serum contains 3 essential ceramides, hyaluronic acid and vitamin B5. Vitamin C serum

There is a scent to it and this may be due to the ingredient Isopropyl Myristate which is not great if you have acne prone skin. It adds moisture to dry skin but i have not noticed any significant brightening so far.

A good serum

The first time I did, it squirted out quickly. I think it would have been better in a bottle with a pump or dropper. The serum itself is very nice. It doesn’t have a strong scent like some Vitamin C products do. It also soaks in quickly to your skin and gives it a nice glow. I will definitely keep using it.

I’ve tried quite a few Vitamin C serums this year, and I’m still on the hunt for the perfect match. This one didn’t quite hit the mark for me, but I get that Vitamin C serums are more about brightening and protecting the skin than deep hydration. That said, with a formula including three ceramides, hyaluronic acid, and vitamin B5, I was expecting a bit more moisture and softness. The texture is really nice, lightweight, easy to apply, and it sinks in quickly without leaving a sticky or filmy feel. The silicone adds a bit of a protective layer, which is handy. Smooth coverage, Visible results

I have less dark circles under my eyes and it’s managed to smooth out some of my deeper lines. My eyes look brighter and complexion is so much better than before. Only negative I have and only happened once was it started to flake off my face which was annoying as left my face with that horrible sand on sun cream feeling and flaked off orange but as I say only happened once and was probably user error

Decent vitamin C serum

Allergic reaction

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoyed the texture and smell of the serum, when I opened it. I use vitamin c in my skin care routine, so I was excited to try the product. Unfortunately within 10 minutes of applying the serum, small bumps started appearing around my mouth and on my cheeks. I washed my face straight away and the bumps had gone the following day. I’m not sure what caused the reaction as I used the brand regularly. I tested the product again the following week and had the same reaction. So unfortunately I can’t use it.
