This product is an absolute GODSEND! I have really oily skin and battled with whiteheads for so long. I tried so many different products until I found this one. I used it as instructed - a little product goes a long way! It has a soft scent, feels good to the touch. After 2 nights, I immediately saw the magic working! Different to others

I'm used to salycilic acid in my cleansers and I wanted to try this for awhile, first a little goes a long way, scent is powerful natural and green like mint, or tea tree, I left it a minute to have a deeper experience and it definitely felt like a mask like it was DOING something lol. After I washed my skin was fresh, suple, I wouldn't say "hydrated" but elasticity was intact, wich I always missed after washing with other salicylic acid cleansers, with a very even tone, my night retinoid and moisturizer absorbed super faster and I can still feel the "is there doing something", and that is amazing as I feel it doubles as a step, feel like 2 steps so I wouldn't use toner tho I'm oily and acne prone. ♡

Excellent cleanser

This intensive purifying cleanser aims to deeply cleanse the skin while it reduces excess sebum & correct blemishes. The cleanser contains Salicylic Acid & Zinc. The cleanser comes in a gorgeous green tube which contains 200ml of the product. So it will last quite a while. The cleanser as a lovely tea tree like scent to it. I used this every morning and night. The cleanser can be used on both face and body but i did just tend to use it on my face though. You don't need alot of this product is found a little bit definitely goes along way. I wet my skin and gently massaged a pea size amount into my skin and massaged for around a minute before I rinsed it all off. So from using this my skin definitely looked fresh while it kept my skin nice and hydrated too. As for reducing blemishes yes they are a little bit not much. But for me my face was definitely much fresher. Overall I'm pleased with this cleanser and it would be something I'll be purchasing again.

Effective Cleanser

I have been using the Normaderm Intensive Purifying Cleanser for some time and I am impressed with it's results so far. The added salicylic acid and zinc gently cleanses my skin without dryness or irritation, just an excellent deep clean. The cleanser is a clear gel which foams so well which would be ideal for oily skin types. The active ingredients give this a refreshing, volcanic scent and is free from soap and alcohol. It's suitable for sensitive skin and can be used for face and body.

Great product

I have always struggled with whiteheads and acne and have been using this product for maybe three years now. It made a great difference, I had barely any spots and kept up with the results from my microneedling. I had to switch to a Cerave cleanser for a bit because there weren't any pharmacies selling it in my hometown for a while and it all went sideways, my skin went back to being filled with whiteheads. I purchased this product yesterday with a special order and I am really happy.

This is a cleansing facial wash… not a ‘cleanser or moisturiser’

I bought this product thinking it was a cleanser (to be used with cotton wool). After googling the product, finding this page, clicking the ‘How to use’ I realise it is a cleansing face and body was… would be helpful if this was written on the bottle rather than the 8 or so different languages. Understandable that some customers have not reacted well if they used in the same way it did 🤦🏽‍♀️

The best of all!

Having sensitive yet combi skin, I’ve always struggled with breakouts and then dry patches when I tried to treat them with the string actives and acids. My skin likes Salicylic when it comes to blemishes and blackheads but….and it’s a big but…. But it gets so flaky with skin peeling under makeup eugh (snake skin?). I then discovered the Vichy normaderm range and I’ve not looked back since. The cleanser specially is a godsend because it’s gives me the love of salicylic acid but without the side effects. I use it as my morning cleanse and for nighttime routine I use it as second cleanse after an oil cleanser. The transparent runny jelly like liquid melts away all the gunk and dirt from inside the pores without leaving my skin dry or flaky. I’ve noticed that it regulates sebum too so I don’t have oily tzone at the end of the day. The smells is gentle and minty which is great and freshens me up in the morning 😍. The 200ml squeezy tube is a great value for money as my teenager child has also started using it for their ever so spotty nose.

Severely burnt my skin. Swelling and redness 7 days after usage.

Having sensitive skin that is prone to seb derm I was looking forward to the benefits of salicylic acid and zinc. But by God this completely ruined my face after washing with it. Swollen eyelids, bright red rash in face and neck, extreme dryness that doesn't subside no matter how much moisturizer I put on. Absolutely shocking.

Normaderm Phytosolution purifying cleansing gel is a great choice even for sensitive skin. Lightweight texture and easy to apply, I use this every day and cleanses my face and neck well, my acne reduced and my skin feels so fresh and hydrated after using it . I definitely recommend it.

Less Oily

I've been using this for a couple of weeks now and can honestly say my skin is so much clearer, with fewer blemishes and less oily. It looks fresher and softer, is great for sensitive skin and is dermatologically tested. I use mine every evening to clean away the days impurities and grime, followed by Mineral 89 and moisturiser.

Great Cleanser for Oily Skin

Vichy Normaderm Purifying Gel Cleanser is designed specifically for oily, blemish-prone skin. I have been using it for a few weeks now and I have noticed a massive improvement in the appearance of my skin. My skin is visibly clearer and I do not get many breakouts anymore. The cleanser comes in a form of a clear gel which foams slightly when applied to the skin. I do enjoy the delicate fragrance of this product. I find that a lot of products designed for oily skin dry out the skin however this is not the case with this cleanser. Vichy Normaderm Purifying Gel Cleanser leaves my skin feeing deeply purified and fresh after use. It contains salicylic acid which balances sebum level. My pores appear decongested and purified and my skin does not appear to be as shiny as before. Unfortunately this does not last all day and the shine comes back in the afternoon. Perhaps I need add some more products from this range to my skincare routine to help tame the oiliness. Overall, Vichy Normaderm Purifying Gel Cleanser is a great product and I will definitely be buying more of it as my current tube is about to run out. I would recommend it to anyone with oily and blemish-prone skin. It is meant to be suitable for sensitive skin too, which I am unable to comment on as my skin isn’t sensitive.

Leaves skin feeling clean and fresh

I have combination skin and have always struggled to find a cleanser that can reduce the excess oil in my face but without making the dry patches even worse. That is until I tried this wonderful Vichy Normaderm Phytosolution Purifying cleansing gel. I was keen to try it as it contains Salicylic acid which I was hoping would help clear some of the impurities from my face and it definitely has done. My first impressions were that the gel feels lovely on my skin leaving it feeling cooled and soothed. You don’t need a lot of product either, a little goes a long way so a bottle should last a long time. There is a lovely delicate scent to the gel which I found really pleasant and it removed my makeup and the daily dirt on my face in no time leaving it looking smoother and fresher and with a lovely glow to it. I particularly like that it is hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive skin and I have not had any reactions to it or break outs on my face as I do with many other products. I have been using this for several weeks now and can see a huge difference to my skin. It looks so much clearer, my pores look much better now and my face is actually glowing with health rather than with oil. I am really impressed with this gel cleanser and would definitely recommend it.

Excellent cleansing

I have been using the Normaderm Phytosolution Purifying cleansing gel for a couple of weeks and I am seeing good results. It thoroughly cleanses the skin leaving it fresh and clean. I like the fact that it does not dry out your face after using it. Perfect for everyday use. Happy it doesn't leave my face tight or irritated. Combined with the pore tightening lotion skin is left fresh and fortified and it effectively removes oily debris from the skin.

Fresh Skin

I have been having a lot of breakouts lately, spots and blotches, which look awful, so when I was recommended this to try I was quite eager as my friend said it was really good, and she was right. I have been using it for over 2 weeks and can already see the difference in my skin, the blotches have faded, and the spots are clearing up/ It's early days yet, but the signs are good and I shall definitely carry on using it. I also love the way it leaves my skin feeling so clean and fresh and it's beginning to feel smooth too.

Favourite Cleanser

I have been struggling with acne, comedones and the worst skin texture ever. Nothing seemed to work for me until I tried this Vichy Normaderm Intensive Purifying Gel. The day I used it I can really see my skin is deeply cleaned and more bright the next day. A few of my pimples even dried out the very next day. This cleanser is in gel form and has a very pleasant refreshing fragrance. It lathers really well and effectively removes all the makeup. By looking at the foam I thought its gonna make my skin dry but it didn't happen at all. I can still feel my skin is hydrated and very deeply cleaned. Ladies and gentlemen, if you're struggling with acne and you have sensitive dry skin, run and get this amazing cleanser. You won't be disappointed really. I would give this product a big thumbs up.

Skin feels so clean after use

I decided to try a 15ml sample size and so pleased I did. Skin feels so refreshed after using this Purifying Gel. I hadn't realised how much my skin was missing until I used this with BHA Salicylic Acid and Vichy's unbelievable Mineralizing Water. Literally washes off any outdoor pollutants your face picks up and you see and feel the benefit within a week. Waiting for my online order to arrive - with a full size bottle! Bye bye Blackheads... A Great Cleanser!

The Vichy Normaderm Phytosolution Purifying Cleansing Gel is amazing it lathers beautifully smells so lovely but is non irritating and has great good for skin ingredients. It definitely helped clear up my congested skin. My skin never feels tight after. This maybe holy grail status :) My only negative which is why I didn’t give this 5 stars is that I’ve ordered this 3 times online and despite being advertised as being in the bottle I have received it in a squeezy tube 3 times. I don’t like it. The bottle looks so much more classy and elegant. Please Vichy stick to the bottle and keep it in production!

Holy Grail Status

This Vichy Normaderm Phytosolution Purifying Cleansing Gel is absolutely amazing. I don’t know why it’s not raved about it should be! It’s got salicylic acid, copper, minerals other good for skin ingredients. On to top of it it’s got a lovely foam but not stripping at all it’s gentle, I assume this has something to do with the ph. My face feels so clean and smooth after. It has a fragrance but this is the last thing on the ingredients list so it wouldn’t be irritating, plus it smells so good.

Over drying and triggered acne brakeout

I would not recommend this product since using it for a week my skin was overly dry and resulted in blemishes. The Normaderm is a much better product and does not strip the skin of moisture like this product.

Gentle and Great for Combo Skin

I bought this over a month ago now. I've had mostly perfect skin for years, then suddenly as an adult I started breaking out all the time (about 6 months ago). I bought some of the cheap acne wash I used as a teen, but it was waaay too harsh to use all of the time. I got this and it is so gentle! I can use it twice a day and my skin doesn't sting or feel tight. I have combination skin and was worried this would be too harsh for my non-oily cheeks. No problem! It has a very light fresh smell too. Sort of reminds of tea tree oil, but less astringent. HIGHLY recommend. Haven't had any breakouts since buying this except when I get lazy and skip a few days.

I used this series Normaderm for the first time about 20 years ago. I had big problems with acne, the doctor treated me with antibiotics, but only this series was the only cream, gel,lotion tonic, that cured me. Thank you Vichy for the Normader series my child uses it now. I love everything about the Normader series.

Excellent product

I have very oily, spot prone skin and have struggled with keeping my skin clear. This product (along with the double correction daily care and the anti spot paste) has visibly improved my skin to the point where other people have noticed. I would highly recommend this product!!!

Love it!

I have oily sensitive skin and during winter time also suffer from eczema on some areas of my face. I tried this product by chance when exploring what product my local pharmacy had for my skin type and I have not looked back. This will be my third time repurchasing the product. It is safe to say my blackheads have been visibly reduced after using this product twice a day as have my breakouts, I love it!

Fantastic product - you have to buy it!

I am so picky with products are rarely write reviews but I felt compelled to share this. This cleanser is absolutely fantastic, it foams up nicely and really deep cleanses the skin however it does not feel drying at all. I get extremely oily skin and am prone to acne and black heads - this has reduced by approx 70% since using this cleanser. I would recommend you buy this product you will not regret it. The only facewash you need!

I came across this product on a girls trip when I found I had forgotten my usual (expensive) face wash and borrowed hers! This facewash thoroughly cleans your whole face including removing mascara, without drying your face or leaving any red patches. It is thorough and gentle and smells great! In my opinion the packaging is also chic/deco so I’m happy to leave it out on the sink, rather than put it away! Which encourages me to use it more! Really happy with this product!

Light weight & effective

Alternative to soap

Perfect for me

Less breakouts

I've been using this for a few months and love it so much I have bought 3 bottles in advance. It's one of the few cleansers I can use that doesn't make my skin feel tight after use. I have also seen a massive reduction in the size of my pores and also my breakouts. Removes makeup really well however I would avoid the eye areas as it makes the skin around the eyes feel a little dry after use.
