Allergic Reaction!!

Having used Vichy creams on my face for a long time, I thought I would try this Mineral 89 serum with the riche cream. My face has a mild reaction to it within 24 hours, dry patches, red skin, burning sensation and swollen eye area. It could have been from using both products together as usually I use the light creams but there was alot of oil build up on my face recently so changed it up abit. Disappointed as I love Vichy products and this being for all skin types I wasnt expecting the reaction I got.

Beautiful serum that loves all skin types!

This is an excellent product and I'll never be without it now. I've been treating very bad melasma and am needing to keep my skin hydrated and with a good barrier. Vichy Hyaluronic booster does thd job and then some. My skin has been rather parched due to prescription strength skincare and Vichy 89 skin booster has done exactly what it says on the jar. Fantastic lightweight seum that soaks into your skin and is super gentle. My skin is prepared for what goes on next. I also use it straight after my LED face light and it is just great. Love it.

Mineral 89 72H Moisture Boosting Cream

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its a lovely texture cream & quite thick. This is what is needed for a good moisture boost. Its non perfumed. I prefer a nice light scent in mine but thats my preference. This one is for all skin types. It felt a bit sticky for a while & took longer to sink in. Although it says up to 72 hours moisture, its not something I would leave on that long & I dont think most people would either.

Long lasting hydrating

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The thick formula becomes a water on contact with body heat. It's easy to apply and sinks in well after cleansing and toning. A little goes a very long way. The next morning my skin was still hydrated it had that hydration glow. It withstood the central heating which is something i look out for with serums to hydrate and my skin felt soft too.

Sinks in very quickly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free sample of this to try but I have to say that whilst the quality appeared excellent it didn’t really go far enough and so it didn’t cover my whole face, this may be because I have very dry skin and it sinks in really quickly so unless you’ve got super speedy hands then you don’t get time to get it all over quick enough. On the plus side I didn’t suffer any allergic reactions which is a massive plus and what I did manage to cover felt absolutely gorgeous afterwards.

A must in your skincare routine

I love the hydrating formula and the natural ingredients; I really appreciate that it’s silicone-free. It feels great on my skin and is easy to absorb, but since my skin is very dry and aging, I definitely prefer the richer, creamier texture of the Minéral 89 100H Rich Cream for deeper nourishment.

Incredible. So hydrating and soothing, For me it is the right consistency and delivers that hit of hydration my dry skin needs. This is the best hyaluronic acid serum I have used by a long way and fits easily into my daily routine. Just give it a couple of minutes after application before applying any other products and it will sink into your skin - particularly if your skin is slightly damp.

Flaky, hot, tingly, red and blotchy . Not good for sensitive skin.

I’m 45 and have moderately sensitive, fair skin. I recently introduced V89 serum in the morning and a (non-Vichy) 24hr retinol cream 2-nights per week. I did the 24-hour skin patch-test beforehand and things looked good. But within days of use, my face was flaking, which I initially put down to retinol purge; I heard this was to be expected and therefore I carried on. After a week, my face started to become a little red and my neck (being the most sensitive part of me) started to get really warm and tingly by lunchtime, so I stopped putting the retinol there at night, thinking that was the most likely culprit for raising sensitivity. However, after a few more days of only using V89 serum and an oat-based eczema cream in the mornings, my neck was on fire, puffy, tight and red, like sunburn. I washed of all product and put on only my trusted eczema cream, and by the next morning things were fine again. I repeated this the following day to double-check, and sure enough, after a few hours, the tingling and heat started to build, so again I washed it off. It turns out that I’m fine with the retinol (the flaking has actually subsided) and it is the V89 serum that’s causing the problem. Similarly, my sister is now doubting the V89 serum as it has caused mild redness and uncharacteristic spotty breakouts for her. Additionally, she was unable to use the V89 72hr 50spf sun lotion because her patch-test caused inflammation after 12 hours. We are both pretty unhappy with the V89 range and our experience has eroded any confidence we had in the brand. We would not recommend these products to anyone.

Staple item

I have been using this product for a while now - I have tried alternative Hyaluronic acid products but none compare to this - you only need a small amount for good coverage. It applies well to the face, absorbs in very nicely and doesn’t leave your skin feeling greasy or sticky. My face is visibly more hydrated especially throughout winter. My one issue is that when you get to the bottom the pump isn’t long enough to get to the end of the product and you can only tip out so much of it so you do end up wasting some of the product.

Won my heart

I've heard a lot about this serum and since it has only good things said about it, I thought it's worth a try. Since I found out that my skin falls between dry and very dry types, I've been trying to put even more emphasis on moisturizing my skin. I know that dry skin can age faster because it doesn't produce as much sebum as oily skin, so I started taking this issue very seriously. The Vichy Mineral 89 Booster Serum is a gel-like product. What I noticed right after the first use is that it absorbs extremely quickly and doesn't leave a sticky feeling. Also, it's very important to me that it works well with my moisturizer. What do I mean by that? I mean if it starts to pill after applying the moisturizer, then it's also a problem. But fortunately, there's no such issue here. Because of its quick absorption, it has become my favorite both in the morning and evening routines. My skincare routine involves multiple steps, and I'm not a patient person, so it immediately won my heart.

Serum for dry skin

I love this serum as i find it to be not only very hydrating, but also lovely to apply to skin! Formulated with hyaluronic acid to boost skins moisture levels and 15 Mineral-Rich Vichy Volcanic Water to fortify skin and protect it against the elements. I apply this in the morning as part of my daily routine and feel it helps me feel refreshed and awakened. It has been tested on allergy prone and sensitive skin, and is dermatologically tested, also being paraben free. My ideal moisturiser!

Which perfect for me! I like its design: the bottle is glass, heavy, very beautiful, equipped with a convenient pump dispenser. The texture of the serum is quite dense and thick, completely transparent, odorless. It is absorbed into the skin instantly, leaving the skin moisturized, radiant, but at the same time no greasy shine, doesn’t clog pores at all and doesn’t roll off, is ideal for subsequent application of cream and foundation! With longer use of Mineral 89 Hyaluronic Acid Booster, the skin becomes noticeably firmer, looks healthier and more radiant. Love it! 🥰

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was kindly sent the Vichy Mineral 89 Hyaluronic acid hydrating serum from the Vichy Société in exchange for my honest review. What does it do? Well this serum claims to hydrate and plump skin. It contains Hyaluronic acid which reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. It can also speed up the recovery & appearance of scarring. It's also is infused with 89% volcanic water (hence the name) that's packed with minerals to provide the skin with lasting hydration. It's also suitable for all skin types even sensitive skin. It's been approved my dermatologists & the British skin foundation. I love that it's fragrance, paraben, silicone, oil, colourant & alcohol free. The bottle is sleek glass & blue and clear in colour giving water and hydration feel. It has a pump action dispenser this makes it slightly difficult to control the amount you are dispensing. Personally I love a dropper. The serum is a clear watery gel consistency. Very lightweight & absorbs quickly leaving no stickiness or greasiness. It also works week with other products no pilling. I apply morning and evening after cleansing. I apply all over my face & neck in circular motion. It gives my skin an instant look & feel of hydration with a slight glowy shine. On using I originally used around 4 pumps this was way to much as a little goes a long way. Using too much caused me to have a breakout on my tzone. I would recommend around 2/3 pumps. After using for around 3 weeks now my skin looks and feels amazing. It is so much more hydrated something key in these colder months. I've also noticed the appearance of fine lines have improved and are less visible this took around 3 weeks where as the hydration was an instant result. People have commented on how my skin looks saying, I look radiant and heathy (made me a lil conscious that I wasn't looking great before but hey I do now ;-) I would highly recommend especially for people with dry skin. I will continue to use and purchase in future.

Great serum for dry skin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to say a huge thank you to Vichy for sending me this lovely serum to test and review as part of their Skin Societe Community and i am recived mineral 80 hyaluronic acid booster serum which is a great starter to my skincare routine. Soothing, plumping and refreshing. I used now 2 week and  First time trying this product and I am glad I did. Goes on smooth, drys quick and leaves the skin feeling amazing, soft and plump .I have dry skin so am always looking for hydrating serums to keep it from getting flaky and tight. I've used so many, from budget to high end, but this is one I'll always go back to. Lovely thick liquid texture that soaks it straight away, layers well with other products and really plumps the skin. A great product to rehydrate my skin in the morning. It feels like a meal for my face, A great base for foundation cream base also.Now ,This is my go to product. I could not live without it. I have recommended it to all my friends and they love it.

Best Serum Ever!!

Hydrating and plumping

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This serum has a liquid gel like texture. It sinks into the skin beautifully and as it absorbs you can see an almost immediate difference to the skin as it leaves you skin looking smoother. It has made an amazing difference to my skin during this cold weather and having central heating on and has stopped my skin from becoming dehydrated. I have a healthy looking skin and my fine lines are much less noticeable. The serum contains Hyaluronic Acid and Mineralizing Water which hydrates and helps to strengthen the skin barrier. I have been using 2 pumps of serum each morning after cleansing and after three weeks my skin is looking great, and is my neck and décolleté have benefited from this lovely serum too. I really recommend this serum for the visible results in my skin.

I was first introduced to it a few years ago when someone recommended it as a great base for make up, as it makes the skin feel lovely, hydrated and plump. I have since learnt that it also comes with some great skincare benefits. It only has 11 ingredients, including hyaluronic acid and Vichy’s volcanic mineralising water, so it’s great for sensitive skin and also when your skin is feeling like it needs some extra tlc. It’s great at boosting hydration and helps to strengthen the skin’s natural barrier function. I am so happy that this serum is back into my daily skincare routine, especially now that the days are getting colder and the weather is a little harsher on the face! I use two pumps of it for my whole face, including taking it up under my eyes. It’s great at plumping the skin, reducing fine lines and wrinkles! It’s great to add to the ends of your hair too!
