Confusing Information

I always use factor 50 suncream as I like to have the best possible protection and I had never tried this one, and, of course, it being Vichy you can't go wrong. My skin is quite oily and this, unfortunately seemed to make it worse. I'm not out in the sun for long so usually only need to apply once, occasionaly twice, but that's all, but even after the first time, my face was quite bad. It didn't help that there's conflicting advice as to when it should be applied. Some says it should be the last product on your skin, which is what I always thought to be true, but elsewhere it says to use before moisturiser. Either way, it didn't really work for me. I won't be buying it again.

Not recommended

Not matt at all, at least on my face. I'm not that oily, but after applying, look more oily. Enhances my pores. Also makes my face sweat a bit. Additionally, if you touch your face, it creates small pieces, and it happens every time I reapply. I'm waiting for it to be over, since it's expensive and I don't want to throw it away. On the positive note, it is hydrating, and leaves just a little bit of a white cast.

Great for oily skin

This is a great SPF for oily skin. It provides high protection without making me greasy. Sits well under makeup, doesn’t give a white cast and there’s no flashback in photos.

First purchase and I'm never going back!

This was recommended to me by my aesthetician along with some other products. I think generally, what SPF products do are not immediately visible hence I take it for granted, but not since I bought Capital Soleil Mattifying 3-in-1 SPF 50. It keeps my very oily face in check all day long and the cheery on top is not having to use primer, this does the job. How cool is that!

Great protection

I bought this last year and absolutely adore it. I am very pale and intend to stay that way. This cream is not greasy upon application and is very easy to reapply due to the size of the tube being very handbag sized. As it is anti-ageing product - which if you apply Sunscreen all year round you shouldn't have to worry about as the years go by - it offers a 3-in-1 treatment to help with Radiance, Anti-Wrinkle and Skin Elasticity. Great SPF 50+

I’ve been using this SPF all summer and absolutely love this product. It has mattifying effects which absorbs excess oil so my forehead doesn’t get shiny. I wear this underneath my makeup and it doesn’t effect my routine in anyway. It’s now getting cooler but I’m going to continue using this SPF!

For the oily skin people out there!

My skin is oily, prone to clogged pores and imma red head! Great combo…..not! But this product is a must. My skin is protected and my skin isn’t shining to the high heavens. It’s creamier and more mattified (not completely but way better than others I’ve tried). Totally recommend! Thanks Vichy!

Great sun protection

I have been using the Capital Soleil SPF 50 anti ageing sun cream for about a month and I am pleased with the results. I have been applying a thin layer over the top of my moisturizer and the sun cream absorbs quickly and mattifies the complexion. I have heard from others that it causes pilling and wears off but I have not experienced this. I think maybe it is due to just applying a thin layer. My makeup sits on top without any problems.

This is great as it drys matt not shiny like alot of other spf. Factor 50 perfect for my face. Soaks quite quickly in and even has a nice smell

Rubbish!

This is probably the worst face spf I've ever bought. I have oily skin but this dries my skin out and flakes off in white balls on your skin, rubs off on clothes.... wont be purchasing again

The best sun cream!

This is my favourite sun cream for my skin! It gives me a really great level of protection from the sun, it absorbs quickly and never leaves a white mark on my face.

Just what I was looking for

I'm on an acne medication that makes my skin more vunrelable for UVA/UVB so I love the high SPF and this product seems to work great on my skin type. It doesn't leave my face feeling greasy but moisturized and matte! Love this.
