Effective brightening without irritation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was expecting a play-it-safe moisturiser but this has become a stapel in my skin routine. It squeezes out as a smooth, creamy lotion, it spreads really easily and absorbs within a minute. Around week three I noticed a visible shift: my skin was brighter, significantly less dull and the effect was so longlasting I have been really impressed with this product.

Vitamin C cream

The cream was not too thick only downsize for me was the smell it a little off putting at first but then you get used to it.

Great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that this lotion can be used both on the face and body. The size of the bottle is over 200ml, so will last me ages and I like the convenience of the pump dispenser. The lotion is lightweight and absorbs nicely into my skin without leaving any sticky or greasy residue. The lotion feels moisturising and since using the lotion these last few weeks, my skin feels smoother and softer.

Lightweight and sinks in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using this lotion and love it. Lightweight, sinks in quick and no sticky/greasy feel. No strong scent either, perfect for sensitive skin. My skin looks more glowy but no harsh glow, just a health look. Zero irritation and no breaks out which is a win. Pump is handy just watch out not to over pump as it’s a bit runny.

Can see a difference already

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Highly impressed with this product. I have been using this product for two weeks and can see the colour difference already. My forehead was badly damaged from the summer and have noticed a massive improvement. Has a light consistency and easy to apply. Would definitely buy again.

Another great product from CeraVe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this product for a few weeks and actually quite liked it. The lotion sunk into my skin very easily when applied and didn’t seem too thick. I didn’t notice results straightaway but after a few weeks I did notice my skin looked brighter and did make a difference some areas where I had uneven skin tone. I would say that for a product that you can get in many shops it is definitely worth getting.

A little underwhelmed

Nice light lotion

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a nice, easily absorbed light lotion. Has a faint scent that’s a little strange, but it’s hardly noticeable. Easy at apply, and you only need a little on your face as it goes a long way and absorbs quickly. I like to think with a product like this with good ingredients my skin is brighter and more even in tone, but I’ll keep using it and see!

Nice lotion

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed using the Cerave Brightening Vitamin C lotion. I was surprised at how good a product this is. It has given my skin a definite glow and it feels brighter and fresh. The lotion has a soft feel and I could see an improvement in my skin tone after regular use and some noticeable differences to minor blemishes and my skin feels healthier. The bottle has a great lock system that makes it easy to use. I would definitely buy and recommend this for others.

Lovely texture, absorbs really well

Great results in a week, slight residue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first tried this product, it was slightly tingly on my face but since then has been fine. I agree that it visibly improves my skin - my mother said my skin looks fantastic l from three metres away on Day 4. I noticed the difference myself probably on day three or four. Since then I have just kept looking and being amazed at how bright my skin looks and how the hyperpigmentation is fading! It has a slight feel of residue afterwards, but perhaps that is when I am generous with it. I think it's good value for what it does. Packaging on the front is good but on the back it's far too small. It's in four other languages for the Scandinavian market, but because they all said "Brightening/Vitamin C" at the beginning I had to scan through those before I finally got to the directions in English which were placed just before the French version. Tip: put DK/NO/FI etc. The English is lost otherwise, and I had to look at the front and back of the bottle 3 times! Ingredients inside the label?

Great all rounder with results

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was skeptical as used this brand before and stopped HOWEVER what a fabulous moisturiser, light enough to be used on your face and hydrating enough to use after shower on your body too! A little goes a long way which impressed me, no irritation or need to reapply after a few hours, definitely locked in the moisture and visible effect on my uneven skin, saw the biggest results on my body namely my legs, which no longer look so patchy and starting to see the results on my face. Regular moisturer for me

All over goodness

CeraVe dull skin!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a non scented brightening lotion containing vitamin C from CeraVe, the lotion is a lovely creamy consistency, very easy to apply using the pump, a little goes a long way and it is easily absorbed into the skin making skin feel quenched, nourished and moisturised. As it’s non scented it didn’t leave my skin feeling irritated like many lotions can do. I’ve been using it for just over a week now so it is too early to see any brightening effects but over all it’s a winner for me as it’s just so lovely to use and kind to my skin.

Nice, lightweight lotion

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lotion is lightweight, non-greasy and absorbs quickly. It doesn’t have the feel of a really moisturising cream so I probably wouldn’t use this instead of moisturiser, i’d maybe alternate or use this underneath. It’s unscented and just smells like “cream”. I have been using this on my chest as I have some uneven texture there and it hasn’t broken me out (I’m quite acne prone on my chest) which is a bonus and I do feel like my chest has cleared a little. I’ve also been using this on my arms as I have some pigmentation/sun damage there. I haven’t seen any difference after two weeks but will carry on using it. I didn’t experience any sensitivity from the vitamin C either, which sometimes can happen.

Feels good

CeraVe Lotion

Smoother skin!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 1st impressions. Smells neutral, nice consistency, has all the hallmarks of the CeraVe quality. It has certainly helped to make my textured skin feel smoother. It is hard to gauge how much smoother in just a short 2 weeks. I would recommend this to all those with post acne/ spot scars/ marks. It feels great on my face, hands and arms. It's just the right balance, for myself anyway, the CeraVe cream (not lotion) which I've had in the past leaves me feeling greasy, i think this is perfect for combination skin like myself. I will definitely keep on using it to see if my skin keeps on improving, i am quite positive to say the least.

Cerave Brightening Vitamin C Lotion

Great for the body less for the face

I didn't like the feel on my face and have better facial moisturisers. It worked brilliantly on my legs especially after shaving, it left them soft and supple and not irritated. Bright and Light- CeraVe Brightening

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually really enjoyed using this product. Usually I find that lotions can be sticky or heavy on the skin, leaving you feeling uncomfortable, however, I found this to feel really light on the skin, soaks in quickly and leaves the skin feeling really soft. I haven’t really noticed a smell to it either so it’s good that there is no chemical after odour. I have been using this lotion as an all over lotion, mainly on my arms where I do have tattoos, just to see if it did brighten them and I can report back that I find it has added moisture to the skin making them look less faded. Overall I would recommend this product.

Nice to apply

Fragrance free and with ceramides to support skin’s barrier, I wouldn’t hesitate to use it! I love that it includes Vitamin C for brightening but I think I would need to test it for longer to really see any brightening effects. For a body lotion, it dries down quite quickly which is so handy.

Good but not great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this lotion for over a week. I like it because it soaks in very quickly to the skin, even straight after the shower. It hydrates well and make skin look soft and smooth. The none scent scent is a bit wierd but it is not a big issue. Does it brightness the skin? Not sure. I have been using it only on my body, my arms have a bit of pigmentation after summer sun, it does not appear as yet to sort it out. As a lotion is good but what it supposed to do, I may need to use it longer than just a week to see more effects. As a lotion to moisturise the skin is good though.

Beautiful glowing skin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this lotion! My skin felt so hydrated from the 1st application. Sometimes Vitamin C doesn't agree with the skin on my neck but no problems with this one. Although I have only been using it a week so not long enough for major skin changes, it really did make my skin look glowing. Not only that but my skin feels dreamy, hydrated, soft and dare I say almost flawless. I cut out all other hydrating products to properly test it and honestly don't think I need them while using this one lotion. No pilling under my sunscreen or foundation either, it's honestly a great lotion!

Lightweight moisture

The lotion has a lovely thin consistency which makes it easy to apply and it absorbs nicely into my skin without a heavy or greasy residue. It was very nice to use however after using the product t for over a week I haven’t noticed any real difference in the feel or appearance of my skin. It doesn’t feel noticeably softer or look any brighter and I haven’t seen a visible reduction in pigmentation or dark spots. Overall it’s a nice lightweight lotion with a pleasant texture, I would use it as an everyday moisturiser as unfortunate, I haven’t received the results I was hoping for.

Bright side

Soft silky skin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very lucky to be sent this to trial. It needs to be applied to clean skin twice daily. The instructions say to apply it liberally, which I did the first time, however I found it left my skin feeling very damp and sticky, which in turn made me feel very uncomfortable. It seemed to just sit on my skin and wasn’t being absorbed. When I then applied it in the evening, I used a lot less. This time my skin absorbed it and felt soft and silky. My skin still felt amazing the next morning so I continued to apply the smaller amount each time. I have been using the lotion for about a week, and my face feels softer and looks brighter. I have also been using this on my legs as I was starting to get some dry skin, where my tan was fading. The dryness on my legs has almost disappeared.

Goodbye dull and uneven skin!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wasn’t sure when it first arrived, but like they say never judge a book. Having just been away this product was right up my street. As I have a bit of uneven skin tone due to the sun this product has really helped me. You don’t need a lot as it goes along way. I applied it to my legs first as they were a tad dry in places and wow this cream really helped with the uneven tone. It helped exfoliate bits that were dry and crusty by moisture rising them and creating a nice soft skin barrier. And the tan on my legs, now looks amazing and even . My legs now feel amazing and my skin looks so much brighter and healthly Easy to apply and soaks straight in, no sticky feeling on your hands after applying or on the skin where it’s been applied. There is no smell to the product either which is good. Easy to use pump as well no problems there. Highly recommended this product. It does exactly what it says.

Light lotion

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tested this product for a week. It was fragrance free and absorbed quickly as it is a light gel textured lotion. It was lightly hydrating and smoothing temporarily but I didn't notice significant brightening over such a short period. I will continue to use it to see if it does fade marks and brighten my skin as claimed.

Good, could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I like this lotion. I feel it really cleanses the skin well and I think it makes my skin brighter, although I’ve only been using it for a week. The only note is that it doesn’t smell all that great. I’m not sure if I’ll continue to use it.

Really nice lotion

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a lovely lotion! It feels really nice on your skin and works as a nice base for make up. It definitely gives the skin a more dewy glow i didn't notice a massive difference in the dark patches on my face but it has worked wonders on my neck and chest area. I would buy this again but use as a body lotion as it didn't quite give me enough moisturiser on my face but overall I would recommend it for a brightening skin moisturiser

Lightweight, brightening & gentle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] CeraVe Vitamin C Brightening Lotion is a lightweight multi use product that is gentle and fragrance free. It can be used all over the face (avoid eyes) and body. It is particularly good for areas you don't always use moisturiser such as underarms and inner thighs as it helps to brighten darker skin in these areas. I found it the perfect texture for an everyday face moisturiser and my skin looked glow and radiant after just one use. It felt soft and hydrated. It was too soon in a week to tell if its helped with my pigmentation but I'm hopeful. As a body lotion it us light and easy to apply daily. My skin looked radiant and felt comfortable following. I will definitely continue to use this product as I feel it will help even my skin tone.

Noticeable improvement to brightness

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the moisturiser on one arm only for a week so I can compare any difference. My skin is noticeably softer and more radiant after an eel of use. There’s a tackiness when you first apply the product which I didn’t like but it wasn’t enough to put me off using it again in the future as it went away quickly.

CeraVe Brightening Vit C Lotion

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the lotion for nearly two weeks , not really seeing much brightening. Skin definitely seems softer but unsure about the brightness. Possibly need to use longer for better results. Lotion dries quickly and absorbs well..Not sticky or leaves a residue. Great with being a pump container that you are not wasting any product. Going to continue using the product.

Great lotion

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vitamin C lotion is great. I've been using it for two weeks now and my skin feels lovely. It has lightweigh milky texture and it feels really nice on my skin. It absorbs quickly and my skin feels hydrated and soft without feeling sticky. I've been using it on my face and body and it has improved uneven skintone in the areas I had it. I like that it's face and body product so it saves me time and money . The size of the bottle is perfect to store away easily and the pump works well dispensing the right amount of product needed. This is a lovely lightweigh lotion that I would continue using and I'm happy with the results so far.

Lovely and lightweight on the skin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product felt light and easy to use. The handy pump dispenser ensured I used the correct amount, without dlving into a pot, with my hands. Having used it for just under a week, still to soon to say if helps with dark patches. It feels nourishing on the skin.whilst feeling lightweigh lt and gets absorbed quickly. Has a nice gentle, non overpowering fragrance, so had no issues using it with my regular perfume. Result so far, look promising. I love Cerave products and find they cause no problems with irritation or sensitivity, Vitamin C Brightening Lotion included, which can also bwle used on the face

A Bright Idea but Results Didn’t Dazzle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the CeraVe Brightening Vitamin C Lotion daily for a week but sadly didn't get on well with it. I have normal combination skin & a fair, cool-toned complexion; I didn't expect the full visible effects within a week, but I did hope for hydration & a fresher look as standard. Instead, the lightweight lotion felt wet on application, didn't fully absorb & left a tacky feeling residue on my skin. When used twice daily, this residue built up quickly & began to peel, which felt unpleasant. Makeup didn't sit well over it either & by day 3, I experienced breakouts. I didn't experience any brightening effects & feel my skill actually looked duller & more congested than usual, only returning to normal after I'd discontinued use and exfoliated head to toe. The packaging is practical and the pump works well but overall, the product didn't feel premium or effective. Based on my experience, I wouldn't continue using this lotion, nor would I recommend it to others.

Not much impact

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a pleasant smelling lotion which is easy to apply. However it takes a while to sink in so leaves your skin a bit greasy for a while. I have been using it daily for a week but haven’t seen much impact compared with my normal moisturiser. Not a bad product but not worth the money in my opinion.

So far, so good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a regular user of lotions and really like this. It’s super lightweight on application but leaves skin feels moisturised for ages. I used this all over the body and felt my arms and legs stayed smooth and soft for longer than they would with any other lotions I’ve used in the past. I also used it on my face but haven’t been using it for 4 weeks yet to notice if the dark spots have faded as per the claims but so far, so good. Would recommend.

Leaves your skin glowing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The idea of the product is great and I can tell when I’ve used it in the face that it does give you a healthy looking glow. The major downside for me is the smell, it’s a medicated smell and I much prefer either no scent at all or a cocoa, Shea, luxury scent to a moisturiser. So I am afraid I was disappointed and even though it gave the skin some glow I don’t think I would purchase

Fantastic product

Gentle and effective

Brighter skin

Luxurious

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this lotion. It's lightweight, gel texture goes on beautifully and sinks in well, no lasting sticky feeling and no fragrance. When I use it at night I definitely see an improvement in how my skin looks upon waking - more bouncy and glowing (a friend even commented on my glow at the weekend). Not been using it long enough to see permanent change, but I can certainly see a difference every day that I use it - so will gladly continue.
