WAREHOUSE CLOSURE FAQS

What are we doing?

We are going to be upgrading the warehouse management system in our Trafford distribution centre. During the transition from one system to another, there is going to be a two weeklong window where we will be unable to ship orders and a short period thereafter where we will be operating with longer than usual lead times.

Why are we doing it?

This is a global project impacting all L'Oréal brands and divisions, and forms part of our work to ensure that the future proof our physical distribution operations globally with the latest systems.

What do you need to do?

In anticipation of the temporary closure, we are recommending that our customers buy an additional three weeks of stock within February. To help our warehouse manage the increased ordering - we would ask that you place your orders within a set window as detailed below.

What are the key timings you need to know?

17th to 28th February

Please build 3 weeks of extra stock ahead of the warehouse closure.

3rd March (Midday) IE

Deadline for final orders before warehouse closure.

4th March (Midday) UK

Deadline for final orders before warehouse closure.

10th to 23rd March

Our warehouse will close while the warehouse system changes.

24th to 30th March

Orders will begin shipping again, lead times may be slightly extended.

Early April

First deliveries to you after the non-shipment window. New orders placed from this time should also return normal lead time.

Can you still order during the 10th to 23rd March Period

LDB Partner Shop will remain open throughout and you will also be able to continue to place orders with your Business Development Manager during that time as needed. However, please note that orders placed while our warehouse is closed will not be delivered until early April.
